Our teacher for this class is originally from Newfoundland! These mittens are one of the designs that is knitted again and again on the East coast. Not only will you learn to knit these, but you will learn about their history and the "proper" way to knit them.
You should be an advanced knitter to take this class. You should also have prior experience with knitting mittens.
Date: Wednesdays, Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 1- 3 p.m.
Cost: $85 + GST
Supplies: 2 sk of Briggs & Little Regal (2 colours)
4 mm needles in the style of your choice. Book purchase "Saltwater Mittens" is recommended but not required.
