Opal 30 Years Collection

For 30 years now, we've been living out our wool-based passion with our Opal brand. The beginnings? The first generation's tinkering workshop and the second's idea factory . Transformation – from white to color – has always been at the heart of it all. Our printing partner makes this possible. After color fixation, the Opal yarn takes a soothing steam bath , and then 4250 meters – a vibrant, multicolored kilogram – are transformed into a steam-refined wool cake , naturally low in calories. In the final step, the initially white yarn becomes a colorful, skeined wool love. For us, wool is art ; Opal is our love for wool and handcrafts made real – as already mentioned, a wool-based passion. 

Our anniversary collection consists of eight magnificent and vibrant colorways, telling the story of our production and our passion for our Opal brand.
