Our teacher for this class is originally from Newfoundland! These mittens are one of the designs that is knitted again and again on the East coast. Not only will you learn to knit these, but you will learn about their history and the "proper" way to knit them.
You should be an advanced knitter to take this class. You should also have prior experience with knitting mittens. We will use the Hello, Goodbye mitts pattern
Date: Tuesdays, Jan. 27, Feb. 3, 10 and 17 at 1- 3 p.m.
Cost: $95 + GST
Supplies: 2 sk of Briggs & Little Regal (2 colours), 4 mm needles in the style of your choice. Book purchase "Saltwater Classics" is recommended but not required.
Cancellation Policy: As we all know, "life happens", so if you must cancel up to one week before the start of your class, we will issue a refund. If it's less than a week, you are welcome to find a friend to take your spot as there will be no refund.
